The user engagement is hugely affected by sensitizing with user’s expectation and prediction of “I can/would do more” and transforming into “wow! I’m doing it right now” by an early introduction. It works exactly like inviting audience to a movie, first we show the trailer which is very brief but contains the “script” and we pitch in brand value (actor/director/superhero) and after the trailer we say come and enjoy it. It’s doesn’t work other way around. User needs to know “what I’m into now” at very first interaction.
Designing for context has multiple aspects like personalization, localization of content, “things which makes sense to me” and the intelligence brought in to deliver my ambient needs in total synchronization with “what I’m into now”, “Things which matter to me”, “people I interact with” and “Suggestions which might serve my needs”. In principle, We believe in more Concepts and less Documentation. We follow agile Ux methodology and a lean approach to design ecosystem. We start early with available touch points and create early stage mapping with the help of designers, product managers and Business folks. We prefer whiteboards and in fact things do happen with a whiteboard and couple of markers as long as they are of different colors. These early stage mapping and whiteboard mockups drive us to focus on Business priority as well as authentic experiences.
